The Aventura Marketing Council’s new Real Estate Committee, chaired by Patricia Rotsztain, Director of Sales for Weichert Professional Partners, recently held a standing-room only meeting. The goal of this committee is to learn from key industry leaders, exchange ideas and relevant information.
Aventura Marketing Council members in the real estate industry (real estate brokers and agents, real estate attorneys, developers, community association companies, mortgage and title companies) were invited to hear noted attorney
Dennis Eisinger, founder of the law firm of Eisinger Brown Lewis Frankel & Chaiet, speak on relevant subjects, including
• Accessing community association records relevant to the prospective sale
• How to quickly analyze the stability of a community association
• What recourse a buyer has if turned down by an association
• Negotiating assessment reductions in short sales
• “Prescription pets” as a reasonable accommodation under Fair Housing laws
“We received extremely valuable information,” said Rotsztain. Dennis shared with us “pearls of wisdom” and tips for negotiating. We are all looking forward to our next meeting. There are many many real estate agents in South Florida, and we know the true professionals take the time to keep learning and growing—ensuring a positive difference in their results. ”
Topics for upcoming sessions include International Buyers: Different Legal Entities Pros and Cons; Money Transfer Issues; EB5 Visas; Forecast of Credit by a panel of lenders; Short Sales and Clearing Liens.
